Job summary

Unison Group in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Java & Microservices Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and modern microservices patterns.

You will implement microservices architecture, build secure APIs, work with databases (SQL/NoSQL), and participate in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong programming experience with Java 8/11/17 or above.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and RESTful services.
• Experience with API design, integration, and documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
