Job summary

INFOSIGHT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Java/J2EE developer to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You will work with Spring, Oracle/MySQL and modern open-source frameworks to build scalable backend services.

Responsibilities include delivering high-availability applications, translating designs into functional software, and contributing across all phases of the lifecycle. A strong focus on performance and reliable releases is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of coding experience.
• Strong database skills with Oracle or MySQL.
• Proficient in J2EE and Spring stack.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
• Experience with logging/monitoring frameworks like EFK, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Develop high-volume, low-latency applications and ensure high availability.
• Translate designs into functional applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable code.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose fixes; prepare releases.

1. At least 5-7 years of coding experience.
2. Have strong skills/experience on database.
3. Have strong J2EE skills/experience, familiar with open source frameworks
4. Familiar with Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Oracle, MySQL, JPA
5. Has adequate knowledge of widely used middleware like Kafka, Redis etc.
6. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines with Bamboo, GIT, Bit-Bucket, Nexus and Test Driven Design (TDD)
7. Familiar with application logging and monitoring frameworks like EFK, Grafana, Prometheus etc.
8. Good knowledge on Containerization of java based application with Docker and Kubernetes
9. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
10. Developing high-volume, low-latency applications and delivering high-availability and performance.
11. Translate application design and use cases into functional applications.
12. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable application coding.
13. Identify bottlenecks and bugs and propose solutions to these problems.
14. Prepare and produce releases of software components.
