Job summary

Unison Group is seeking an experienced Java & Microservices Developer to design, build, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful services using Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot.

You will implement microservices, integrate with databases and messaging systems, and collaborate with frontend, QA, and data teams. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development experience (Java 8/11/17+)
• Proficient with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security and Spring Data JPA
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful services
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs; Swagger/OpenAPI familiarity
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and messaging systems
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Responsibilities

• Experience with API design, integration, and documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
