Job summary

Citco is seeking a Team Lead to guide a cross‑functional team in building on‑prem and cloud native applications for finance. You will drive end‑to‑end delivery, design system architectures, and ensure quality through peer reviews and automated pipelines.

The role requires 8+ years in software engineering, strong Java/Spring/Hibernate skills, 3+ years NodeJS/Typescript, React, Python, and 2+ years in leadership, with deep AWS expertise and DevOps focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Java / Spring / Hibernate experience.
• 3+ years of NodeJS + Typescript experience.
• 3+ years of React experience.
• 3+ years of Python experience.
• 2+ years in a team leadership role.
• 2+ years deploying apps on AWS infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of multiple AWS services and deployment/monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sprint Planning, Execution, Daily Scrum, Review, and Retrospective.
• Lead development of the entire application.
• Design system architecture and perform peer reviews for quality.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Drive delivery across development, testing, DevOps, and architecture.
• Break down features into tasks and user stories.
• Stay updated with emerging tech and apply where fit.
