The role combines desktop support, system administration, and routine maintenance to keep workstations and software running smoothly. Candidates should have at least 2 years of desktop support experience, familiarity with Windows XP/7, Active Directory and GPOs, and VOIP environments.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of desktop support experience or combination of education/certifications and experience.
• A+ certification is an advantage; MCDST desired; MCSE is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receives and responds to workflow requests via Remedy ticketing system.
• Spots problem trends as they emerge and improves root cause analysis.
• Performs installation, relocation, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance of desktop devices and software.
