Philippine NSE Design Services Inc. is seeking an IT Systems & Software Engineer to develop software and provide hands-on IT support. You will design, code, test, and maintain applications while assisting with system installations, troubleshooting, PC deployment, and ticket resolution.
The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving, and cross-department collaboration to deliver secure, scalable solutions and continuous improvement of the technology environment.
The IT Systems & Software Engineer is responsible for both software development and technical IT support within the organization. This dual role involves designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications that enhance business operations, while also assisting with system installations, troubleshooting, PC deployment, and ticket resolution. The position requires strong technical expertise, analytical problem solving, and the ability to collaborate across departments to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions. By combining software engineering with hands on IT support, the IT Systems & Software Engineer ensures reliable systems performance, user satisfaction, and continuous improvement of the company’s technology environment.
1. Software Development – Design, code, test, and deploy applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
2. System Maintenance – Maintain and enhance existing systems, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
3. Requirements Analysis – Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document technical and functional requirements.
4. Testing & Quality Assurance – Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and participate in QA processes to ensure software quality.
5. Version Control – Utilize Git or similar platforms for source code management and collaboration.
6. Documentation – Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and system specifications.
7. Security Compliance – Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
8. Continuous Improvement – Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
9. Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, QA testers, and other developers to deliver projects on time.
10. Support – Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications.
These tasks are considered secondary responsibilities and will only be performed when workload under the primary duties is light or when additional support is required:
1. Installations – Assist in installing and configuring hardware, software, and network systems.
2. Troubleshooting – Provide support for technical issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
3. PC Deployment – Set up workstations, deploy operating systems, and ensure proper configuration for new users.
4. Ticketing Support – Assist in handling IT service requests, logging issues in the ticketing system, and ensuring timely resolution.
5. Collaboration with IT Team – Support other IT staff in daily operations, system monitoring, and preventive maintenance.
6. User Assistance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in software engineering or application development.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, React, Angular).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Employment: Full Time (Regular Employment)
