Job summary

Technology Elite, Inc. is seeking an IT Systems Engineer (Tier 2) to independently resolve tickets across Windows desktop/server, Microsoft 365, networking, and security. This highly autonomous role offers growth into cybersecurity and requires strong troubleshooting and customer service.

Work is onsite at Technology Elite's Office with shifts spanning Arizona or Philippines time. You will document in ITGlue/Autotask and support onboarding, device setup, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Critical thinking skills
• At least 2 years in a technical support, NOC, or service desk role (MSP experience strongly preferred)
• A strong focus on customer service
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems without close supervision
• Solid troubleshooting across Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals, and remote tools
• Familiarity with endpoint protection tools, MFA, patching, and basic vulnerability management
• Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Basic understanding of PC/laptop hardware and printers
• Professional written English and customer service communication skills
• High attention to detail in documentation and ticket handling

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and resolve service desk tickets across Windows desktop/server, Microsoft 365, networking, and common infrastructure platforms
• Serve as the first responder for alerts from RMM and security tools—troubleshoot, resolve, or escalated per documented procedures
• Perform patching, software deployment, and system maintenance tasks with minimal oversight
• Execute basic cybersecurity workflows such as: Monitoring and triaging alerts, routine checks for device compliance, and vulnerability remediation
• Create and maintain clear, concise documentation in ITGlue and Autotask
• Handle user onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and device setup
• Flag trends, misconfigurations, or high-risk activity for senior engineers and the security team
• Proactively look for opportunities to improve processes and catch issues before they become incidents
