A growing logistics company is looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to manage and support the company’s IT infrastructure, end-user systems, hardware, software, networks, and information security requirements.
This role is ideal for candidates with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT support, desktop support, network support, systems support, or IT infrastructure support.
The position requires someone who can respond quickly to technical concerns, maintain reliable IT systems, support daily business operations, and ensure that employees have the technology resources they need to work efficiently.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, operating systems, printers, scanners, and network devices.
Provide timely technical support to employees for hardware, software, email, connectivity, and system-related concerns.
Support and maintain company networks, internet connectivity, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and related infrastructure.
Monitor system and network performance and conduct diagnostics to help prevent downtime.
Assist in implementing information security measures to protect company systems, devices, and data.
Manage software updates, system upgrades, user access, backups, and basic IT maintenance activities.
Track IT assets including laptops, desktops, peripherals, repairs, replacements, and technology-related costs.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, internet, and other IT requirements.
Maintain IT documentation, inventory records, troubleshooting logs, and support reports.
Recommend improvements to strengthen IT support, system reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field.
At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT support, desktop support, systems support, network support, or IT infrastructure support.
Strong experience troubleshooting hardware, software, operating systems, network connectivity, printers, scanners, and user devices.
Knowledgeable in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365, basic networking, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and IT security practices.
Experience handling user access, software installation, system updates, backups, IT asset tracking, and vendor coordination.
Experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, distribution, manufacturing, or other fast-paced operations environments is an advantage.
Experience supporting warehouse or operations-related systems, scanners, barcode devices, CCTV, biometrics, or business applications is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer service skills when supporting employees and internal users.
Organized, dependable, and able to prioritize urgent technical concerns.
Able to work independently and respond quickly to IT issues that may affect business operations.
