Job summary

Union Bank of the Philippines is seeking an IT Strategy Officer to drive workstream-level execution, coordinate strategic programs within the IT Strategy & Performance team, and synthesize inputs from internal data and partner-supported insights to inform decision-making.

You will track milestones, risks, and dependencies, ensure timely, high-quality outputs, and prepare concise briefings for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

About the Role:

The IT Strategy Officer provides workstream-level execution, coordination, and analytical support forstrategic programs managed by the IT Strategy & Performance team. This rolecombines disciplined project tracking with supporting research and analysis,ensuring that programs are delivered on time and that workstream owners receiveclear inputs, synthesized from internal data and partner-supported insights, todrive sound decision-making.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain detailed workstream-level tracking ofmilestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies; escalated issues proactivelyto the IT Strategy Manager
• Ensure on-time, high-quality outputs and outcomesforall assigned projects and workstreams
• Coordinate logistics and materials for workingsessions, steering committees, and review forums

Research & Analytical Support

• Support the development of evidence-based points ofview by gathering data, conducting targeted research, and synthesizing inputsfrom internal analysis and partner-delivered insights
• Perform targeted analyses to inform strategic decisionsacross the IT portfolio
• For new initiatives, support the definition ofapproach, work plan, timeline, and expected impact, coordinating with partnerswhere specialist expertise is required

Stakeholder Communication

• Prepare clear, concise briefing materials andrecommendations for senior stakeholders
• Support the IT Strategy Manager in producing programreporting and executive communications

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Years of Experience: 0–3 years in IT project coordination, business analysis, technology operations, or a related analytical or project-support role. Fresh graduates with strong analytical aptitude will be considered.
