Job summary

SYSTRA Philippines is seeking an Information Technology Officer to oversee hardware, software and network needs, ensuring security and day-to-day support for staff. The role includes procurement, asset inventory, system upgrades, backups, and network administration. On-site workplace in the Metro Manila area (Pasig).

The successful candidate will draft technical docs, ensure policy compliance, and participate in IT trainings. Requires a computing degree and 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Principles of information systems maintenance and operations.
• Testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software.
• Network operations and computer equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency with office productivity and databases.
• Degree in computing or closely related field; 5+ years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides troubleshooting/support for IT problems; escalates complex issues.
• Manages OS installations and system upgrades/configuration.
• Maintains network hardware and server software; ensures backups.
• Oversees procurement of IT equipment, vendor canvassing, PO prep.
• Ensures timely delivery of IT services and equipment.
• Drafts technical documentation and SOPs with IT team.
• Participates in meetings and trainings related to IT services.
