Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations and peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.).
• Assess computer hardware and peripherals to ensure functionality.
• Install and configure software per specifications.
• Develop and maintain local networks for performance optimization.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and systems.
• Perform network management, software standardization, installation, and maintenance.
• Install, monitor, troubleshoot, and upgrade network hardware.
• Perform database administration and maintenance.
• Provide orientation and technical support to employees for office and production applications.
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without disrupting work.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by AVP – Operations and/or Management.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the design, improvement, operational integrity, and maintenance of all I.T. systems and devices. The goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of the technology on business sustainability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Set up workstations and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.).

2. Check and assess computer hardware and peripheral devices (HDD, mouses, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality.

3. Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.

4. Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.

5. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.

6. Perform network management, application software standardization, installation and maintenance.

7. Perform communications network hardware installation, monitoring, assessing, troubleshooting, and upgrading.

8. Perform database administration and maintenance.

9. Provide orientation and technical support to the organization's employees for office and production process applications.

10. Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.

11. Performs other job-related tasks that may be assigned by the Assistant Vice President – Operations and/or the Management when necessary.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any relevant field

• Proven experience as I.T. Specialist or relevant position

• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills

• Excellent communication ability

• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills

• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and communication networks

• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles

• Certification as IT will be an advantage (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)

• With practical knowledge on networking technology, infrastructures and network solutions, specifically Mikrotik routers, Ruijie Gateways and Intelligent Switches

• Amenable to work in BGC, Taguig City
