Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2+ years of experience in a Level 2 (L2) Cyber Security role.
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+ (SEC+), CYSA+, or equivalent.
• Certifications: A+, Network+, or CCNA.

Responsibilities

• Leverage threat intelligence to identify and detect emerging cyber threats.
• Develop automation playbooks and optimize security technologies.
• Review and tune security controls to strengthen security posture.
• Act as escalation point for process and technical guidance.
• Conduct quality audits of incident tickets and ensure adherence to processes.
• Investigate security alerts and escalate as needed.
• Manage security incidents and response processes end-to-end.
• Lead investigations and mentor Level 1 Analysts.
• Contribute to SOC playbooks and knowledge base.
