Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Risk Governance & Oversight Specialist to join our Global Tech team in Manila. You will support GWAM Information Risk Management, oversee indicators, remediation, and reporting, and help automate governance processes using AI where appropriate.

The role emphasizes data analysis, stakeholder coordination, and clear management reporting to strengthen risk oversight in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Collect, reconcile, analyze, and report complex data accurately.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables) and Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Interest in automation and AI to improve processes and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; explain risk clearly.
• Effective consulting, decision-making, stakeholder management.
• Great organizational and time-management skills; meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a global team; adapt to change.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Willing to work at UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City) in hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Support governance and oversight across information risk, KRI, vulnerability management, and change programs.
• Interpret risk and security standards; translate requirements into actions; monitor controls.
• Track vulnerability scans, asset health, remediation progress and report outcomes.
• Aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and root causes.
• Develop metrics, reports, Power BI dashboards, data-flow diagrams, and presentations.
• Communicate status, risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation clearly to stakeholders.
• Partner with teams to assess risk, evidence needs, and support remediation.
• Provide guidance on security controls, compliance expectations, and governance processes.
• Maintain and enhance policies and governance documentation for audit readiness.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve governance and reporting, including AI.
