Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, especially in network and infrastructure deployment.
• PMP/Agile/ITIL certifications preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage software development and technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives,aligning them with strategic business goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and roadmaps, tracking progress and ensuring milestones are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, designers, and product managers, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Ensure the use of best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, proactively identifying solutions and escalating when necessary.
• Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring that communication is clear, and expectations are properly set across teams.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously improve processes for future initiatives.

JOB SKILLS AND TRAITS

ITIL Integration & Service Transition:

• Apply ITIL principles and practices throughout the project lifecycle, particularly within the Service Transition phase.
• Ensure that new or changed services are designed, built, tested, and transitioned into the live environment in a controlled and structured manner.
• Collaborate with Service Management teams (e.g., Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management) to ensure compliance with established ITIL processes.
• Participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to present and justify project-related changes and releases.
• Ensure that the project deliverables, such as documentation, knowledge articles, and support models, are in place to support the new service post-launch.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the project management and service management processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in project management, particularly in network and infrastructure deployment projects, with proven expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• PMP/Agile/ITIL certifications preferred, along with strong knowledge of project management tools like Jira and SmartSheet.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with experience managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and project resources.
