We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Delivery Lead / Agile Product Owner to spearhead the end-to-end execution of our software development projects. In this dual-impact role, you will act as the vital bridge between business stakeholders and our technical delivery teams.
You will not only champion Agile methodologies and facilitate key team ceremonies, but you will also deeply own the product backlog—translating business needs into actionable user stories and driving continuous improvement to ensure high-quality, timely software releases.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- End-to-End Delivery: Lead the successful execution of IT projects within a Scrum/Agile framework, managing scope, timelines, risks, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Backlog Ownership: Own, prioritize, and refine the product backlog to ensure it constantly aligns with strategic business goals and delivers maximum product value.
- Requirements & User Stories: Translate complex stakeholder requirements into clear, concise user stories complete with measurable acceptance criteria.
- Agile Facilitation: Lead and facilitate core Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders through regular progress reviews; manage external vendor coordination and delivery when required.
- Process Optimization: Drive delivery discipline and continuous improvement across tools, engineering practices, and team collaboration.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience managing Agile software delivery projects within IT or software development environments.
- Agile Expertise: Proven track record working directly within Scrum teams, specifically managing backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management.
- Product Mindset: Strong background in product backlog ownership, defining software requirements, and making data-driven prioritization trade-offs.
- Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead without authority, aligning and motivating cross-functional teams toward shared delivery goals.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to easily translate technical concepts for non-technical business audiences.
