Rising Tide Digital, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager in Manila to lead software development and systems integration initiatives within a PMO. You will facilitate Scrum events, support the Product Owner, and ensure milestones and governance are met.
The role requires 5+ years in IT project management and 3+ years leading Scrum/Agile teams, with hands-on experience across web, mobile, and core systems. Manila-based candidates are preferred for on-site collaboration.
Facilitating the Scrum Events by organizing and facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure effective collaboration and communication
Supporting the Product Owner by assisting the PO in managing the product backlog, ensuring that it is prioritized and well-defined.
Tracks completion of project milestones to ensure solution-readiness of projects.
Prepares weekly status reports and presents it to the team highlighting completed tasks, upcoming work, and flags at risk items that need the upper management attention. Ensures that realistic project plans are maintained and ensures regular and accurate communication to stakeholders
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs by implementing a structured change management process.
Identify, allocate, and manage project resources, including team members
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that team members are engaged and productive.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification in project management is a plus.
5+ years of direct experience in IT project management, with a primary focus on managing software development and systems integration projects.
3+ years of hands-on experience leading Scrum/Agile teams (e.g., as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager).
Proven track record of delivering cross-functional software projects across web, mobile, core transactional systems, or enterprise integrations.
Experience managing cross-functional teams (Developers, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX Designers) within a PMO structure is a plus.
Demonstrated history of steering projects through complex deployment phases, including UAT, migration, and nationwide or multi-site rollouts.
Agile Frameworks: Deep practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid methodologies (e.g., Agile execution with Waterfall milestone reporting).
SDLC Governance: Solid understanding of software development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, code repository management (Git), release management, and testing frameworks (UAT, automated testing, stress testing).
Backlog Refinement: Experience translating business requirements into epics, user stories, and actionable task acceptance criteria.
