Job summary

SB Finance, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to deliver technology projects in a cross-functional environment in Manila, Philippines.

You will lead the full project lifecycle, coordinate internal and external resources, and report on scope, cost, schedule, and risks to stakeholders. The role requires 5–10 years of PM experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of work experience in project management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, ECE, IT or related field.
• Certifications (PMP, ScrumMaster, Prince2) are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Single accountable party for planning, orchestrating, and delivering technology-related projects.
• Direct technology-related projects with varying complexity and multiple resources.
• Oversee all project lifecycle phases with matrix IT partners.
• Rigorous scope management to meet time, cost, and quality targets.
• Chair regular meetings with project teams and sponsors to review delivery scope, cost, schedule, risks, and changes.
• Publish periodic project status reports and ensure required artifacts and audit compliance.

JOB SUMMARY

The ProjectManager (PM)is responsible for the delivery of technology-related projects. PMleads cross-functional strategic and business-initiated projects withvarying complexity across different types of projects such as but notlimited to launching of new products and services, large-scaleapplication development, systems integration, regulatory or securitycompliance, operational efficiency improvements, infrastructure, andapplication upgrades. PM manages a Project Working Team (PWT) ofvarious sizes, both internal and external resources, and chairsregular meeting with PWT and Project Sponsor / Project SteeringCommittee (PSC) to review progress on overall delivery plan inrelation to scope, cost and schedule, and projectrisks/issues/dependencies/changes.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Singleaccountable party for planning, orchestrating, and delivering atechnology-related project.

Directstechnology-related project with varying complexity, millions ofinvestments, and involving multiple internal and external resources

Directlymanages all aspects of the project lifecycle and works with matrixIT partners to oversee all SLDC phases of a project

Rigorouslymanages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time,cost, and quality parameters.

Chairsregular meeting with PWT and Project Sponsor / Project SteeringCommittee (PSC) to review progress on overall delivery plan as toscope, cost and schedule, and project risks, assumptions, actions,issues, and dependencies, and proposes recommendations andadjustments.

Publishesperiodic project status reports.

Ensurescompliance with required project artifacts and audit requirements(internal/external audit)

Itis accepted and understood that the employee may perform otherrelated tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Yearsof Work Experience: 5– 10 years

EducationalAttainment/ Required course ( ifapplicable ) :Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, ECE, Information Technologyand other related courses

RequiredCertification/ Professional License ( ifapplicable ) :Not required but is an advantage (e.g. PMP Certification, ScrumMaster,Prince2)

Fieldof Specialization ( ifapplicable ):Project Management, IT Service Delivery, IT Infrastructure,IT-Software, Project Management Officer, Process Improvement, Audit &Taxation, Banking and Financial, IT-Software, Process Design &Control, Quality Assurance

Knowledgeand Skills Requirement:

Exemplarycore project management skills and has knowledge on SDLC for bothwaterfall and agile delivery

Hasexperience of successfully leading complex and multi-component ITprojects. Knowledge or experience of banking operations is a plus.
