Job summary

Meralco PowerGen (MGEN) is seeking a Systems & Cloud Engineer (IT/OT) to design, implement, administer, secure, and continuously improve enterprise systems and hybrid cloud environments supporting power generation operations.

The role bridges IT infrastructure with ICS/SCADA and plant OT to ensure high availability, cybersecurity, reliability, and operational efficiency across MGEN facilities. You will collaborate with IT and operations teams on IT/OT connectivity and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain enterprise server infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.
Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent technologies.
Support enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Monitor system performance, capacity utilization, and infrastructure health.
Perform system upgrades, patch management, and lifecycle management activities.
