Virtua Solutions Outsourcing is hiring an IT Operations Specialist based 100% onsite at the BGC office in Taguig City. You will be the single point of contact for company-wide IT support, manage hardware inventories, user provisioning, and daily service desk tickets for all employees and client accounts.

The role progresses through three phases: Phase 1 fixed-term project-based contract, Phase 2 probationary period as IT Operations Lead, and Phase 3 regularization as IT Operations Lead & Primary

The IT Operations Specialist is physically based 100% onsite at our BGC office in Taguig City and serves as the single point of contact for company-wide IT support. Reporting directly to the CEOs with the HR Manager acting as the daily operational point of contact, this role manages core IT infrastructure, physical and remote hardware inventory, user access provisioning, and daily technical tickets across all employees, remote teams, and BGC onsite accounts.

This position features a structured, performance-based career pathway:

• Phase 1 (Months 1–3): Fixed-Term Project-Based Contract focused on physical hardware reconciliation, system/network audits, immediate coverage, and IT workflow optimization.

• Phase 2 (Months 4–9): Probationary Employment as IT Operations Lead upon successful completion of project deliverables.

• Phase 3 (Month 9+): Regularization as IT Operations Lead & Primary Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Responsibilities & Core Accountabilities

• Operational Collaboration & IT Transition (Phase 1 Specific):

• Collaborate alongside existing IT personnel and management to conduct comprehensive system audits, bridge operational gaps, and ensure uninterrupted technical coverage across all departments.

• Independently verify, cross-reference, and reconcile all company hardware records, user access logs, and vendor contacts to establish an accurate master operational baseline.

• Company-Wide User Support & Ticket SLA Management (Remote & Onsite):

  • Manage end-to-end IT service desk requests for all company employees and client accounts (both remote and onsite).

  • Coordinate daily ticket priorities and operational updates directly with the HR Manager.

  • Ensure high-priority hardware, software, user access, and connectivity tickets are acknowledged and resolved within strict SLA targets.

  • Manage end-to-end user onboarding and offboarding (laptop imaging, hardware preparation, email/system provisioning, physical asset recovery upon exit) for all employees nationwide.

• Phase 1 Immediate Project Deliverables (Months 1–3):

  • Conduct a complete physical and remote audit of all company-owned laptops, devices, and peripherals stored at the BGC office or deployed to remote agents.

  • Establish and maintain a centralized Master IT Hardware & Asset Tracking log (serial numbers, issuance records, physical condition, warranty statuses).

  • Audit BGC office network infrastructure, ISP lines, and user access permissions across Google Workspace Super Admin, ClickUp, and Slack.

• BGC Office Infrastructure & Site Management:

  • Maintain physical presence on the BGC office floor, serving as the immediate point of contact for on-site infrastructure, local network redundancy, and facility biometric access coordination.

• Data Privacy & DPO Compliance Accountabilities:

  • Act as the internal Compliance Officer for Privacy (COP) / Deputy DPO during Phase 1.

  • Assist executive management and HR with Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and regulatory documentation.

  • Lead annual registration renewal filings and documentation with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT Systems Administration, Technical Support, or IT Operations in a BPO setup.

• Ability to work 100% Onsite at the BGC Office (Taguig City) supporting both remote and onsite staff.

• Hands-on expertise in Google Workspace Super Admin, Windows/Mac OS imaging, network setups, ClickUp, and Slack.

• Knowledge of Data Privacy Act (DPA) requirements, NPC portal registrations, or prior experience as a DPO / COP.
