Job summary

VIATechnik Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant IT Manager in Manila, Philippines to support management of the company’s technology environment.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on reliable IT operations, cybersecurity, cloud and on-premises infrastructure, and driving automation initiatives. You will collaborate with business leaders, vendors, and technology teams to ensure secure, scalable IT systems aligned with business objectives, including controlled AI adoption and process

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of IT experience in infrastructure management, cybersecurity, or IT operations.
Demonstrated experience leading projects, coordinating technical teams, or providing technical mentorship.
Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Endpoint Management Solutions.

Responsibilities

Oversee operation, maintenance, and performance of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, storage, connectivity, and cloud services.
Administer and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, UniFi networking, Synology NAS, Windows Server environments, and Active Directory.
Monitor system health, availability, performance, bandwidth, and capacity planning.
Drive cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability management, risk mitigation, and incident response activities.
Lead IT projects from planning to handover; track timelines, costs, risks, and deliverables.
Identify opportunities to automate IT processes, reporting, monitoring, and workflows; support AI enablement.
