ING Hubs Philippines is seeking an infrastructure and operations engineer who will manage Linux and Windows environments, support virtualized and containerized platforms, monitor performance, and automate routine tasks. You will work in a globally connected operations team serving Retail Banking with exposure to cloud, containers, and enterprise-scale platforms.

You will collaborate across infrastructure, platforms, and applications, partnering with engineering, security, and architecture teams

• Managing Linux and Windows environments
• Supporting virtualized and containerized platforms
• Monitoring system performance and resolving incidents
• Automating repetitive operational tasks
• Improving reliability, availability, and scalability

About the team

You will join a globally connected operations environment supporting Retail Banking services. The team works across infrastructure, platforms, and applications—collaborating closely with engineering, security, and architecture teams. Expect a diverse, international setup where knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.

Required skills

We’re looking for engineers who are curious, proactive, and comfortable working across technologies.

Core technical skills:

• Strong experience with Linux and Windows systems
• Virtualization (VMWare or similar)
• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, load balancing)

Engineering & operations:

• Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or Go)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git)
• Configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
• Incident and problem management

Nice to have:

• Database knowledge (SQL)
• Experience with IT risk controls, audit support, or compliance
• Exposure to high-availability and disaster recovery setups
