Job summary

ING Hubs B.V. Philippine Branch is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to build resilient systems that keep banking moving. You'll ensure stability, security, and performance while driving automation in a modern engineering environment.

You will manage infrastructure, respond to incidents, and own Linux and Windows environments. The role covers virtualization, containers, cloud platforms, and observability to improve reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Linux and Windows systems.
• Virtualization (VMWare or similar) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, load balancing).
• Engineering & operations: scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or Go), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git), configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK), incident and problem management.

About the Team

You will join a globally connected operations environment supporting both Wholesale and Retail Banking services. The team works across infrastructure, platforms, and applications—collaborating closely with engineering, security, and architecture teams.
