Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee the company’s IT operations across multiple retail branches and sister companies. This role is responsible for developing and executing IT strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring the reliability and security of IT systems, and providing strong leadership to the IT team. The IT Manager will play a critical role in supporting business growth, operational efficiency, and technology-driven initiatives within a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and roadmaps aligned with business goals and retail operations
- Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects, including system upgrades and the adoption of new technologies
- Oversee IT infrastructure such as networks, servers, cloud platforms, and retail systems to ensure availability, performance, and security
- Provide IT operational support to multiple retail branches and sister companies
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the IT team, including training, performance evaluation, and skills development
- Support end-users by providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and timely issue resolution
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, access controls, and data protection policies
- Manage IT vendors, service providers, software licenses, and service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Oversee IT procurement, asset management, and technology lifecycle planning
- Prepare and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal resource allocation
- Monitor IT performance metrics, risks, and project progress, and prepare reports for senior management
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, data security standards, and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in IT operations, including supervisory or managerial roles
- Strong hands‑on experience in managing IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud services, and enterprise systems
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, data protection, and IT governance
- Proven experience in IT project management, budgeting, and vendor management
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting retail operations and multi-branch environments is highly preferred
- ERP system experience is an advantage
