Job summary

KMC Solutions is looking for an OSS Intern to provide IT and end-user support, assisting with daily IT tasks and system maintenance across our infrastructure.

The role offers practical exposure to hardware and software support, documentation work, and deployment imaging, with opportunities to learn through hands-on tasks and collaboration with various teams across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
• No work experience required.
• Willing to be assigned in multiple locations.
• Willing to work on shifting schedule, holidays, weekends, and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with system backup and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot network and hardware issues.
• Update user and technical documentation.
• Run calls to troubleshoot desktop/PC problems.
• Provide help desk support to staff requiring technical assistance.
• Assist with building and deploying desktop images.
• Other duties as directed by supervisor.

The main responsibilities of a OSS INTERN include:

• Assist staff performing system back up and maintenance functions
• Assist network and hardware troubleshooting
• Assist in updating user and technical documentation
• Run calls to troubleshoot desktop and PC problems
• Provide help desk support to staff requiring technical assistance
• Assist with building and deploying desktop computers and laptops images for deployment.
• Other responsibilities as directed by supervisor.

To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

• Excellent customer interface skills
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Strong communications skills, both written and oral

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

• Preferably with 300 to 800++ hours (about 1 month+) internship requirements
• Willing to be assigned in multiple locations
• Willing to work on shifting schedule, Holiday, weekends, and Night shift
