About the role

Alberto Shoes Corporation is seeking a motivated and talented IT Intern to join our Information & Communication Technology team on a full-time basis. This internship role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in software development and programming whilst working with a dynamic team in a professional environment. Based in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, you will support various IT initiatives and contribute to the development of technology solutions that drive our business forward. Key responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for basic technical concerns raised by employees and branch staff.
• Assist with basic computer hardware troubleshooting (desktops, printers, POS devices, peripherals).
• Help troubleshoot simple network and connectivity issues under supervision.
• Log, categorize, and track support tickets accurately.
• Escalate concerns beyond first-level scope to the appropriate senior IT team member.
• Assist with IT asset tagging, inventory checks, and basic documentation.
• Support the IT team during system rollout activities, including training sessions and branch coordination.
• Participate in team check-ins and learn how a real IT operations team runs day to day.

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree, diploma, or vocational course in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware troubleshooting (e.g., identifying common hardware issues, basic repairs, peripheral setup).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., what a LAN/WiFi connection is, simple connectivity troubleshooting).
• No prior professional experience required — we will teach you the rest.
• Strong willingness to learn and take direction from senior IT staff.
• Reliable and able to commit to full Monday-to-Friday office hours for the entire internship period, without conflicting school class schedules or requirements during this time.
• Good communication skills in English and Filipino.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

What we offer

At Alberto Shoes Corporation, we are committed to investing in the development of our team members. During your internship, you will benefit from:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard office hours. This is a full commitment for the duration of the internship — applicants must be available without conflicting school schedules or academic requirements during this period.
• Allowance: ₱200 per day.
• Location: Primarily based at Head Office, with occasional coordination across branches and the warehouse as needed.
• Supervision: Reports directly to the IT Supervisor, working alongside our IT Senior Associates and Associates.
