Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking a Senior Tech Lead to oversee the Retail Loan Origination delivery, guiding Tech Leads and Developers. The role requires deep experience in application delivery within financial services and managing complex digital projects.

Onsite work in Makati/Ortigas is required, with strong governance and cross-team collaboration to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes. The position focuses on ownership of delivery, IT SDLC adherence, and coordinating across ITG and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job.
• At least 5 years of application delivery experience in the financial services industry.
• At least 5 years of experience managing complex projects involving digital or online-transaction solutions.
• Willingness to work onsite in Makati/Ortigas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality and timely submission of all Tech Lead and Developer deliverables of the Retail Loan Origination section
• Ensure upkeep of the applications and systems owned by the section
• Develop understanding of team workflows and coordinate processes across teams
• Manage escalations and resolutions from Tech Leads and Developers
• Share delegated responsibility of the head and own delivery accountability
• Collaborate with ITG and other units to ensure seamless delivery
• Enforce adherence to IT SDLC and governance structure
• Align team activities with the business unit’s strategic direction
• Assign the right people to projects for proper support and delivery ownership
• Oversee vendor and solution-provider resources assigned to the team
