Job summary

Henkel is seeking an IT Consultant – UCC to drive strategy, architecture, and improvements of enterprise communication services worldwide. You will lead the design and implementation of Unified Communications and collaboration solutions across a global environment, ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence.

The role covers Microsoft Teams Phone, telephony architecture, SBCs, and end-to-end project delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in Unified Communications, Collaboration Technologies, or Enterprise IT; ITIL cert and Agile PM knowledge desirable.
• Strong expertise in UCC technologies including Microsoft Teams Phone, VoIP, Direct Routing, SBCs, telephony and conferencing.
• Hands-on with Audio/Video tech like Microsoft Teams Rooms, meeting room solutions, and collaboration devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, evaluation, and implementation of UCC and Audio/Video solutions across a global environment.
• Own and drive the global Microsoft Teams Phone and telephony architecture strategy; manage telephony infrastructure and SBCs.
• Manage end-to-end UCC projects from concept to deployment with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Drive service excellence through vendor and service provider management; monitor SLA and KPI performance.
• Develop automation, reporting, and operational tools using PowerShell; improve reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with global teams to define standards, governance, and lifecycle strategies for communication technologies.

What you´ll do

• Lead the design,evaluation, and implementation of Unified Communications and Audio/Videosolutions across a global environment; Ensure solutions align with businessrequirements, security standards, compliance requirements, and operationalprocesses


• Own and drivethe global Microsoft Teams Phone and telephony architecture strategy; Managetelephony infrastructure, carrier integrations, number management, SessionBorder Controller (SBC) architecture, and long-term technology roadmaps


• Manageend-to-end UCC projects from concept to deployment; Partner with businessstakeholders and technical teams to oversee planning, change management,process integration, documentation, and operational handovers


• Drive serviceexcellence through effective vendor and service provider management; MonitorSLA and KPI performance, optimize costs, and continuously improve telephony,conferencing, and collaboration services globally


• Developautomation, reporting, and operational tools using PowerShell and relatedtechnologies; Improve service reliability, standardization, operationalefficiency, and overall user experience across the communication landscape


• Collaborate withglobal teams to define standards, governance models, and lifecycle strategiesfor communication technologies; Support Henkel’s Digital Workplacetransformation by delivering scalable, secure, and business-focused solutions

What makes you a good fit

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field


• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Unified Communications, Collaboration Technologies, or Enterprise IT; ITIL certification and Agile Project Management knowledge are highly desirable


• Strong expertise in Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) technologies, including Microsoft Teams Phone, VoIP, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, SBCs, telephony, conferencing, and collaboration platforms; Proven ability to design, implement, and support scalable communication solutions in a global enterprise environment


• Hands-on experience with Audio/Video technologies, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, meeting room solutions, conference systems, and workplace collaboration devices; Skilled in delivering modern workplace experiences that enhance communication, productivity, and user engagement


• Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL), including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Lifecycle Management; Experienced in maintaining service quality, driving continual improvement initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence


• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, automation, reporting, and operational tooling; Capable of streamlining processes, improving service reliability, and increasing operational efficiency through automation and standardization


• Strong vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and technical consulting skills; Experienced in SLA/KPI management, service governance, solution design, platform lifecycle management, and collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver business-focused communication services
