We are seeking an IT Business Analyst who will act as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams in delivering effective technology solutions. The role will be responsible for understanding business needs, analyzing existing processes, translating requirements into clear system specifications, and supporting projects through implementation and go-live.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in requirements analysis, process improvement, HRIS implementation, and stakeholder management, with a solid understanding of HR, payroll, and timekeeping processes.
Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business requirements, operational challenges, and system needs.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions to identify and validate business needs.
Analyze existing business processes and document As-Is and To-Be workflows.
Perform gap analysis to identify process inefficiencies, system limitations, and opportunities for improvement.
Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional requirements, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including Business Rules Documentation, Process Design Documents, Work Instructions, process flows, and functional requirements.
Facilitate discussions between business users, developers, QA teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and aligned.
Support solution design by assessing business impacts, dependencies, risks, and potential process improvements.
Participate in requirements reviews and ensure that proposed solutions address identified business needs.
Develop and support UAT activities, including test scenarios, test cases, acceptance criteria, issue tracking, and defect validation.
Coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams to investigate and resolve issues identified during testing and implementation.
Support system configuration, testing, deployment, and go-live activities.
Monitor implementation progress and assist in resolving requirements-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, operational efficiency, and user experience.
Maintain accurate and updated requirements and project documentation throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Participate in Agile ceremonies or other project management activities as required.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, HRIS implementation, or a related role.
Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, testing, and system implementation.
Strong knowledge of requirements analysis, process mapping, gap analysis, and process improvement.
Experience preparing Business Rules Documentation, Process Design Documents, Work Instructions, process flows, user stories, and functional requirements.
Experience supporting UAT, issue resolution, system implementation, and go-live activities.
Experience working with HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, or workforce management systems is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes, including employee information management, timekeeping, payroll, and related HR operations.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management practices.
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, JIRA, SQL, and Power BI is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and understandable technical requirements.
Experience in enterprise application implementation is an advantage.
