Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking an experienced Application Support professional to manage day-to-day support for core and mobile apps, monitor performance, and ensure high availability. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, perform SQL-based investigations, and maintain knowledge bases.

The role includes weekend on-call rotations and developing deep expertise in assigned applications.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Application Support or similar role.
• Familiar with ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA) and monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Azure).
• Experience creating technical documentation.
• Excellent customer service skills in both verbal and written English.
• Intermediate SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day application support for core and mobile apps and integrated systems.
• Monitor performance, ensure availability, and follow escalation procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely issue resolution and improvements.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotations and respond to high-priority requests.
• Use SQL to investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, and validate data.
• Create and optimize SQL queries to meet business needs.
• Assist in data extraction and reporting tasks as needed.
• Develop and maintain knowledge-based pages.
• Serve as primary POC for at least one supported application.
• Develop deep expertise in assigned application to provide advanced support.

About The Job

This position deals with solving application and system issues for different business units. It requires multiple strengths, including both knowledge of IT and business practices.

What You Will Do

• Provide day-to-day application support to HC’s core applications, mobile applications, and other integrated systems.
• Monitor application performance and ensure availability and reliability.
• Follow established escalation procedures during application outages or high/ critical incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and implement improvements
• Participate in weekend on-call rotations to provide support outside regular business hours.
• Respond promptly to high/ critical support requests during on-call periods.
• Use SQL to investigate and troubleshoot application issues, root cause analysis and support data validation
• Create and optimize SQL queries from scratch to fulfill business and IT requirements.
• Assist in data extraction and reporting tasks as needed.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge-based pages
• Serve as primary point of contact (POC) for at least one supported application.
• Develop deep expertise in the assigned application to provide advanced support and guidance .

What You Need To Have

• At least 2-3 years of experience in Application Support or similar role
• Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g JIRA) and monitoring and logging tools (e.g Splunk, Azure)
• Has experience of creating technical documentation
• Excellent customer service skills in both verbal and written
• Intermediate SQL knowledge
