Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking an Invoicing Specialist in the Philippines to manage invoicing and billing activities, ensure VAT and BIR compliance, and deliver accurate invoices on time across Finance, Sales, and Operations.

You will work with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and Finance to resolve billing inquiries, perform reconciliations, and support month-end close while contributing to process improvements in a dynamic technology services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, finance operations, or related accounting functions.
• Working knowledge of Philippine invoicing requirements, VAT, withholding tax, and BIR regulations.
• Experience using ERP/finance systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, validating, and issuing customer invoices in accordance with contracts, POs, billing schedules, and documentation.
• Ensuring billing accuracy by reviewing customer information, pricing, terms, currencies, and tax requirements.
• Supporting compliance with Philippine tax regulations including VAT and withholding tax; relevant BIR documentation.
• Performing billing reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and supporting month-end closing.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve billing inquiries and documentation requirements.
• Contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience in invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, finance operations, or related accounting functions.
• Working knowledge of Philippine invoicing requirements, BIR regulations, VAT, withholding tax, and related statutory compliance processes.
• Experience using ERP or finance systems such Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across local, regional, and global teams.
