Job summary

DHL Philippines is seeking an Inventory Supervisor to oversee a safe, efficient operation and ensure inventory standards are met within defined KPI targets. You will update SOPs and work instructions and supervise a team of over 100 staff.

The role requires a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, at least 3 years’ experience in leading an operational team, proficiency in MS Office, and strong verbal and written communication to interact with all levels of staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Min 3 years of experience overseeing an operational functional team.
• Experience reading and managing Profit & Loss statements is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Able to supervise headcount of over 100 and liaise with all staff levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safe and efficient operation within guidelines to meet inventory standards and KPI targets.
• Act as process owner for Inventory functions and update SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports of operations performance and HR-related documents.
• Report inventory transactions and ensure IRA stays within contract KPI ranges.

Responsibilities

• To supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve Inventory Standards and defined outcomes for its responsibility area/shift approach.
• The Inventory supervisor is the process owner for Inventory functions and will regularly update Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instruction documents.
• Timely and accurate reporting of operations performance and other operations/human resources related documents.
• Reporting of inventory related transactions and ensure IRA is within allowable range defined in contractual KPI.

Requirements

• Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or any related courses
• Min 3 years of experience in overseeing an operational functional team
• Experience in reading and managing Profit & Loss statement would be advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Must be highly motivated and able to supervise headcount of more than 100, and manage relationships with all levels of staff and customer.
• Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
