Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP, inventory systems, or warehouse management systems is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office; highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily inventory movement including receiving, issuance, transfer, adjustment and disposal.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in system and manual trackers.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical count validation.
  • Prepare and submit inventory reports (stock movement, variance, slow-moving items, near-expiry items).
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate with warehouse, operations, finance, and other departments.

Inventory Specialist (Taguig) – EIGHT8ATE (Corporate Office)

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role ensures proper documentation of stock movements, inventory reconciliation, variance checking, and coordination with warehouse, operations, finance, and other concerned departments. The position supports business operations by ensuring inventory accuracy and timely reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily inventory movement, including receiving, issuance, transfer, adjustment, and disposal of stocks.
  • Maintain accurate and updated inventory records in the system and manual trackers.
  • Conduct regular inventory checking, cycle counts, and physical count validation.
  • Prepare and submit inventory reports such as stock movement, inventory variance, slow‑moving items, near‑expiry items, and stock reconciliation.
  • Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, variances, damages, losses, or system errors.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, operations, purchasing, finance, and other departments regarding inventory concerns.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all inventory transactions.
  • Assist in implementing inventory control procedures and process improvements.
  • Monitor stock levels and report critical, excess, slow‑moving, or unavailable items.
  • Support audits and provide necessary inventory documents and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and inventory standards.
  • Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or any related course.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, or related function.
  • Experience in food, retail, restaurant, commissary, FMCG, or distribution operations is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in inventory control, stock monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Experience using ERP, inventory system, or warehouse management system is an advantage.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Willing to report onsite in Taguig City.
  • Must be amenable to work during holidays, weekends, shifting schedule, or extended hours as required by business operations.
