Job summary

GOLDEN ABC, INCORPORATED is seeking a Distribution Specialist for Inventory to supervise warehouse activities and ensure productivity in a fast-paced distribution center in Balintawak, Quezon City.

The role requires leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills along with experience in high-volume distribution and inventory accuracy. You will document inventory movements, coordinate with IT and IPA, update SOPs, and report on performance while ensuring timely processing of postings and counts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience in high-volume distribution with emphasis on quality and accuracy.
• Experience supervising employees in a dynamic environment with coordination with other managers/employees.
• Experience in managing day-to-day responsibilities of employees and adherence to policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Experience in a high-volume distribution center is preferable.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to motivate others.
• Strong planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented and has a good command of urgency under extreme pressure.
• Must be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Innovative and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Review and document inventory management activities.
• Ensure on-time processing of transfer postings, inventory adjustments, and charging.
• Perform inventory validation.
• Organize SKU placement and setup based on picking location rules.
• Ensure on-time processing of inventory exemptions.
• Ensure DC occupancy is at optimal level.
• Monitor productivity and meet targets.
• Schedule manpower according to activities.
• Support annual and mid-year inventory counts for DC/Ecom.
• Execute cycle count for DC/Ecom.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Investigate order cancellations and recommend actions.
• Contribute to DC efficiency by minimizing aging losses.
• Collaborate with IPA and IT to prevent system errors.
• Assist other sections/departments.
• Update IM SOPs as needed.
• Submit reports on time.
• Propose process improvement and cost-efficiency projects.

The Distribution Specialist for Inventory takes part in supervising and managing the warehouse activities to ensure productivity.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviews and documents activities pertaining to Inventory Management.
• Ensures on time processing of Transfer Posting requests, Inventory Adjustments and Inventory Charging.
• Perform inventory validation
• Organize placement and setup of SKUs/inventories based on business rules on Picking Location Management
• Ensures on time processing of Inventory Exemptions.
• Ensures DC Occupancy is always at is optimal level.

QUALIFICATIONS:
