Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking a Purchasing Supply Chain Assistant in Manila to support efficient inventory management and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in a related field and has 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in retail, distribution, or related industries preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory monitoring, replenishment planning, purchasing procedures, and supplier coordination.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to monitor stock levels and trends.
• Proficient in maintaining records and using spreadsheets or inventory systems.
• Good communication and coordination with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal inventory levels across distribution centers by monitoring reorder points, days of supply, and replenishment requirements in accordance with established purchasing guidelines.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet customer service level targets and ensure the timely availability of products.
• Monitor inventory levels of promotional items and other key products to support sales requirements and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
• Analyze inventory turnover and demand trends to anticipate fluctuations and recommend adjustments to reorder points and replenishment plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing ordering procedures and supply chain processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure proper implementation of standard operating procedures, including vendor transaction processes.
