Job summary

Prime@Technology Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Controller to maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock movements, and perform audits across all warehouse operations in Metro Manila.

You will work with Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, and Logistics to ensure stock availability, reduce discrepancies, and support reporting. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2–3 years in inventory control or logistics, ERP experience, and advanced Excel skills.

Job description

The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock movements, conducting inventory audits, and ensuring inventory accuracy across all warehouse operations. The role works closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, and Logistics to ensure stock availability while minimizing inventory discrepancies.

Duties and Responsibilities Inventory Management

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in the ERP or Inventory Management System.
• Ensure all stock transactions (receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, and issuances) are properly recorded.
• Track inventory movements and investigate discrepancies.

Inventory Control

• Monitor stock aging, slow-moving, and obsolete inventories.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inventory counts.
• Perform cycle counting according to the inventory schedule.
• Reconcile physical inventory against system records.
• Investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Process inventory adjustments with proper approval.

Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure proper stock handling.
• Ensure correct storage, labeling, and organization of inventory.
• Monitor FIFO/FEFO implementation where applicable.
• Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing goods.

Reporting

• Prepare inventory reports including:
  • Inventory accuracy
  • Stock management
  • Stock valuation
  • Fast-moving and slow-moving items
  • Out-of-stock items
  • Overstock items
  • Inventory variance reports
• Provide inventory analysis to the immediate superior.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and basic reporting).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willing to conduct inventory audits even on Sundays
