Duties and Resposibilities:

1. Inventory Management

• Oversee daily inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper documentation.
• Monitor stock movement, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company standards for stock handling, storage, and control.
• Supervise and guide the inventory control team in performing daily tasks efficiently.
• Assign work schedules, monitor performance, and provide coaching or training as needed.
• Foster teamwork, discipline, and accountability within the department.

3. Stock Monitoring and Reporting

• Regularly check stock availability and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams.
• Prepare accurate inventory reports for management (e.g., stock aging, shortages, excesses).
• Highlight risks such as overstocking, stockouts, or slow-moving items.

4. Process Improvement

• Identify and implement best practices to streamline inventory processes.
• Recommend improvements in warehouse layout, stock handling, and inventory systems.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations to streamline inbound/outbound flows.

5. Compliance and Control

• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and audit requirements.
• Safeguard inventory against theft, damage, or misuse.
• Coordinate with auditors for stock verification and compliance checks.
• Maintain documentation for inventory movements, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Google Sheet)
