DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Oversight
- Supervise daily inventory monitoring activities (materials, WIP, finished good).
- Review and validate inventory transactions recorded by staff.
- Ensure timely and accurate cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
- Assign tasks and monitor the performance of the Inventory Staff.
- Provide coaching, training and guidance to ensure compliance with inventory procedures.
- Monitor staff adherence to safety, quality and housekeeping standards.
Inventory Control
- Oversee issuance and proper usage of materials.
- Monitor consumption trends and raise alerts for unusual variances or wastage.
- Coordinate with production teams for material availability.
Reporting and Coordination
- Consolidate inventory reports submitted by the Inventory Staff
- Escalate discrepancies, losses, or critical issues to the Senior Plant Manager
- Coordinate with PPIC and Warehouse functions for replenishment of stocks
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year of team lead level.
- With knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 QMS
- Knowledge of inventory control methods, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
- Proficient in ERP/inventory management system and MS Excel
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
