The Qualifications We Seek
- High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) credential, or equivalent qualification
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in inventory control, data entry, order processing, logistics administration, customer service, or a related field
- Strong reading comprehension skills to interpret customer instructions, internal procedures, and customer procedure manuals
- Strong written communication skills to prepare routine reports and correspond effectively with internal and external customers
- Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills to address practical issues involving multiple variables and limited standardization
- Ability to interpret instructions presented in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule format
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced knowledge of inventory control, courier, shipping, and mailing systems relevant to the assigned operation
- Ability to assist IT teams with system issue resolution
- Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible, self-motivated, and goal-oriented approach to work

Your Daily Tasks
- Communicate with customers via email and telephone and record order information accurately in designated computer systems
- Respond to customer emails and calls in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
- Understand customer requirements and gather all necessary information to fulfill each request accurately
- Process orders accurately in HSS applications and, when required, customer databases
- Generate required documents, including packing slips, bills of lading, air waybills, international documents, TSA paperwork, and manifests
- Review completed work thoroughly to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Monitor applicable time constraints, including cutoff times, carrier requirements, processing needs, response requirements, and deadlines
- Complete all necessary follow-up actions to ensure customer requests are fulfilled
- Solicit customer feedback to improve service and provide potential leads to the sales team
- Process and analyze operational reports
- Receive service failure complaints and collaborate with appropriate personnel to investigate and resolve issues
