Job summary

Thermovar Pipes Sales and Services is seeking an Inventory Clerk to ensure precise inventory data, accurate cycle counts, and timely reporting to related divisions. You will follow standard operating procedures in the warehouse division.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with databases and spreadsheets to manage item codes, counts, and records.

Responsibilities

• Ensures inventory information is precise by executing SOPs in warehouse.
• Performs cycle counting and reports variances to the relevant division.
• Maintains item data (names, codes, counts) and ensures accuracy of transactions.
• Monitors actual counts and alert replenishment needs to concerned team.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring that the inventory related information such as but not limited to inventory count, warehouse returns, deliveries and etc. are precise and accurate by executing the standard operating procedure and policies in the warehouse division.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures that actual items and/or products are available at all times by rendering time for cycle counting and regularly reporting the information to the other division regarding materials concern
• Escalates the inventory or material matters especially the inventory variances to the concerned team or department to execute immediate action or replenishments and maintain the availability of the products, items, materials, and others.
• Champion in the information and transaction of items in warehouse such as but not limited to item names, item codes, actual count, and others.
• Monitors the inventory actual count and inventory level set and ensures that items need to undergone replenishment are reported to the concern team or department

Qualifications:

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering / Business Administration, Major in Operations
• Must have at least one (1) year working experience in the related field
• Must have strong communication (both oral and written), analytical, and organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be adept with computer software, especially databases and spreadsheets
• Must be keen into details with a high degree of accuracy
• Must be able to maintain organized records
• Must be able to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast-paced environment with interruptions, to meet deadlines
