Job summary

Ascend Building Solutions Inc. is seeking an Inventory Assistant to help strictly maintain and monitor all product inventory levels and recommend changes to management.

You will monitor accuracy, resolve discrepancies, oversee product movement in the warehouse, and ensure FIFO compliance, with regular reporting to management.

Candidates should have a degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, familiarity with SAP/S/4HANA is a plus, and willingness to work in Tanza, Cavite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/ college degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in inventory management is an advantage but not required.
• Knowledge of SAP / S/4HANA is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willing to work in Tanza, Cavite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory data integrity and monitor accuracy.
• Oversee warehouse inventory processes and analyze failures and successes.
• Ensure FIFO compliance for all products.
• Conduct physical cycle counts and keep records updated.
• Reconcile counts with the system inventory.
• Maintain filing of stock transfer documents.
• Provide timely feedback to internal customer complaints.
• Back up other supply chain tasks as needed.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor and executives.

Job description

Ascend Building Solutions Inc. is looking for an Inventory Assistant who will help us strictly maintain and monitor all products inventory levels and recommend any necessary changes to management. He monitors the accuracy of all inventory levels, resolves any errors as required, and oversees the product movement flows seamlessly. He maintains inventory control records, reporting them to management on a regular basis.

• Maintains inventory data integrity and tracks the accuracy of inventory in accordance with the principal standards.
• Oversees inventory processes in the warehouse to facilitate root cause analysis of process failures and successes, implement change, and translate best practices.
• Assures that all products in the inventory comply with First In, First out (FIFO) policy.
• Conducts physical cycle counting of stocks. Keep records updated at all times.
• Reconciles all counted stocks against the system’s inventory.
• Ensures proper filing of warehouse copies of stock transfer documents.
• Addresses and provides on-time feedback to internal customer complaints.
• Ensures their proper compliance to all company policies, procedures, and other memorandums related to Operations and such.
• Back-up support for other Supply Chain task if needed.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time by their immediate supervisor and executives.
