Job summary

Archipelago Builders Corporation is seeking an Inventory and Warehouse Assistant to manage warehouse documentation, record inventory movements, and ensure accurate reporting.

You will perform on-spot inventory counts, reconcile differences, and assist in monthly reporting on consumables, tools, and materials at project sites.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, at least 1 year in construction, and are willing to travel and be assigned to Bacoor, Cavite with immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a construction field.
• Willing to travel from site to site if needed (company service provided).
• Willing to be assigned within Bacoor, Cavite.

Responsibilities

• Guides the Warehouse Department regarding documentation of warehouse transactions.

• Performs joint physical count of inventory with the warehouse department and reconciles results.
• Prepares monthly inventory reports including details on OSM and other items, transfers in/out.

Inventory and Warehouse Assistant is in charge of the following tasks:

Warehouse Operation

• Provides guidance to the Warehouse Department regarding the documentation of warehouse transactions.
• Records the inventory movements, receipts, issuance, temporary issuance (employee borrowing of tools) and inter-warehouse transfers in the system.
• Performs on spot inventory counting reconciliations of records versus physical inventory balances on warehouse reports to ensure that movements of inventories are completely documented and recorded.
• Performs joint physical count of inventory with the warehouse department and reconciles results to the records/reports.
• Ensures compliance with warehouse procedures, guidelines and documentation.
• Regularly submits the necessary reports (Consumables, Minor Tools and Equipment).

Records Management

• Safekeeping and control of all accountable documents in the warehouse.
• Prepares monthly inventory reports including the details on owners supplied materials (OSM) and other items in the inventory, transferred-in/out.
• Documents any unaccounted variances, missing items, exceptions and observations related to inventory and warehousing.

Report

• Consumable Inventory Report (including non-moving and fast moving materials, owners supplies materials (OSM) and major materials)
• Inventory of Minor Tools and Equipment
• Billing (Minor Tools and Equipment) in the project site
• Billing of Consumables (Transfer from Head Office and/or Angat Warehouse)
• Discrepancy Report Summary
