The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting/management, strong analytical skills, and experience with inventory control practices. You will monitor pallet usage, respond to item inquiries, and assist with 5S audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant industry experience in material planning or supply chain, ideally in hardware materials or construction.
  • Knowledge in inventory control practices.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to undertake complex analysis to create information and interpret data and trends.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counting twice weekly.
  • Check unserved quantities on picklists.
  • Monitor pallet utilization by assigned area.
  • Respond to email inquiries regarding items.
  • Monitor reservations.
  • File warehouse claims.
  • Book Plant-to-Plant and Sloc-to-Sloc transfers.
  • Conduct 5S audits twice weekly.
  • Double-check RCR and Pullout documents.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks and/or duties incidental to your function or that of the company, which your superiors may ask or direct you to perform.
