Asian Terminals Incorporated is seeking an Inventory Management professional to ensure proper materials handling, inventory control, and process improvements at our Manila facilities.
The role requires a four-year engineering degree and at least two years in inventory management, with strong MS Office skills. You will lead a team, monitor KPIs, and ensure safe, compliant operations across storage, receiving, and issuance areas.
Responsible for ensuring compliance and proper implementation of Materials Management Department working instructions in material accounting and monitoring of daily inventory operations.
Ensures inventory levels are within optimal levels and based on set standards for efficient stock operation.
Ensures accurate documentation, cycle count, reconciliation, and analysis of inventory variances.
Updates and maintains stock locations and ensures proper shelving and safekeeping of materials.
Categorizes materials based on frequency of movement and analyzes issuance data for Material Forecasts, Budget Analysis, and cost savings.
Monitors performance of subordinates and ensures accomplishment of KPI Targets.
Ensures issuance, delivery, and storage areas are properly manned and safe for working.
Manages safety and ensures implementation of the Occupational Safety, Health, Environment Policy and
Security Management System.
Leads the Materials Management Department team in analysis and solution of inventory-related problems.
Evaluates and improves Inventory Management procedures and practices.
Ensures accurate physical inventory count and monitors reconciliation and variance analysis.
Submits required reports and performs other duties as may be assigned.
Graduate of any four-year Engineering course
With 2-year experience in inventory management
Knowledgeable in materials handling and continuous improvement processes
With good communication skills
Proficient in MS Office
