Job summary

Asian Terminals Incorporated is seeking a Reliability Engineer in Manila to monitor the condition of equipment through periodical tests such as oil analysis, thermographs, alignment checks, and ultrasound, while maintaining a database of results.

You will input into risk management plans to anticipate reliability-related and other risks that may affect equipment operations and drive improvements through data-driven analysis.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with a relevant degree.
• Minimum 2 years in reliability engineering with CBM.
• Experience with root cause analysis and reliability tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment condition through periodic tests and maintain results database.
• Contribute to risk management planning for reliability-related and non-reliability risks.
• Integrate preventive and predictive maintenance tasks identified via PDCA cycle.
• Report on the effectiveness of predictive and non-destructive testing monthly.
• Maintain database and analyze predictive maintenance results.
• Provide data to inform the Engineering Risk Register.
• Collaborate with Process Engineer to drive process improvements through data.
• Compare ATI processes with industry bests and report findings.

Job description

Monitors the condition of equipment through conducting periodical tests (oil analysis, thermographs, alignment measures, ultrasound, and others) and maintains a database of results.

Provides input into the risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact the equipment operations.

Key Accountabilities

• Integrate value-adding preventive and predictive maintenance tasks that is identified through the PDCA cycle of the equipment maintenance checklist
• Ensures and report effective implementation of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems monthly through the analysis of results obtained & work order issuance
• Maintains a database and analyzes predictive maintenance test results
• Ensures that condition monitoring outcomes inform the Engineering Risk Register
• Works in tandem with the Process Engineer in driving the Process Improvements by supplying accurate and quality analysis of technical data.
• Compares ATI’s business process and performance metrics to industry bests or best practices from other industries
• Provide monthly reports of Planned Maintenance benefits and challenges.

Qualities, Skills and Experience:

• Graduate of any Engineering course
• With at least 2-year experience as Reliability Engineer handling CBM Programs
• Knowledgeable in doing Root Cause Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System and other reliability tools
• Must have a valid Driver's License
