Job summary

Greatwall Ventures OPC is seeking an Accounting and Inventory Officer to maintain accurate financial records and monitor inventory transactions. The role ensures that entries, stock movements, and supporting documents are complete and properly maintained.

You will collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to reconcile accounts, prepare reports, and support audits, tax compliance, and process improvements. This position requires precision and reliability in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting or inventory management.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and inventory procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
• Experience with accounting or inventory management software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Honest, reliable, and capable of handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions and financial records.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile cash, bank accounts, and other financial records.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules.
• Monitor expenses and ensure transactions are properly documented and authorized.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records.
• Assist with audits, tax compliance, and other accounting requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and other departments regarding financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory receipts, releases, transfers, and adjustments.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages, overstock, and discrepancies.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile results with system records.
• Verify delivery receipts, purchase orders, invoices, and stock issuance documents.
• Investigate and report inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, sales, and operations teams regarding inventory movements.
• Ensure proper documentation and recording of damaged, returned, or obsolete inventory.
• Prepare inventory reports and provide updates on stock status when required.
