Job summary

Shanghai Fosun Health Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. is seeking an International Patient Coordinator / Onsite Consultant for our Philippines team. You will coordinate Filipino patients through cross-border healthcare journeys, connecting patients with our medical teams, hospitals and partners in China.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in healthcare, hospitals, patient services, HMO, medical insurance, medical tourism, healthcare BPO, hospitality or related fields.
• Strong English communication skills and fluent Filipino/Tagalog
• Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, coordination and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable handling multiple patient cases and coordinating multiple parties simultaneously
• Strong confidentiality awareness when handling sensitive patient information
• Able to work independently in a new and fast-growing business environment
• Comfortable using digital tools, CRM, Microsoft Office and AI-assisted productivity tools

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients and families in person, by phone and through digital channels
• Understand patients' healthcare needs, expectations and service requirements
• Collect, organize and securely manage medical records, reports, imaging and other relevant documents
• Ensure patient information is accurately transferred to the appropriate medical and operational teams
• Coordinate online consultations between Filipino patients and Chinese medical experts
• Arrange schedules, patient notifications, medical documents and consultation preparation
• Facilitate communication between patients, families and medical teams
• Support clear communication of doctors' professional recommendations and next-step arrangements without providing independent medical advice
• Coordinate key stages of the patient journey including initial inquiry, medical information collection, expert consultation, hospital/service coordination, visa & travel preparation, hospital admission, treatment coordination and post-treatment follow-up
• Coordinate with visa, travel, transportation and other service partners

About the role

We are looking for an International Patient Coordinator / Onsite Consultant to become a key patient-facing member of our Philippines team. You will be responsible for coordinating Filipino patients throughout their cross-border healthcare journey, connecting patients and families with our medical teams, hospitals and service partners in China. This is a coordination and patient service role — not a clinical role. You will help ensure that patient information, appointments, medical consultations, travel arrangements and follow-up services are coordinated accurately and professionally.
