Qualifications

About the Role

The Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as the delivery of preventive and primary care services. The role will also involve collaborating with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, physical examinations, and clinical assessments for adult patients
• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions within the scope of Internal Medicine practice
• Develop individualized and evidence-based treatment and management plans
• Prescribe appropriate medications and medical interventions
• Provide continuing care for patients with chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular, and respiratory diseases
• Review and interpret relevant laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic results
• Provide preventive healthcare, health risk assessments, wellness consultations, and patient education
• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals and facilitate referrals when necessary
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation
• Support clinic wellness programs, executive check-ups, corporate healthcare services, health screenings, and other medical initiatives as assigned
• Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, confidentiality, professional ethics, and quality care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized medical school
• Must be a licensed physician in the Philippines
• Must be a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician
• With valid and current professional credentials required to practice
• Clinical experience in an outpatient clinic, hospital, diagnostic center, or similar healthcare setting is preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
• Knowledgeable in the diagnosis and management of common adult medical conditions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-interaction skills
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to patient safety, quality healthcare, and professional ethics
