Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized medical school.
• Must be a licensed physician in the Philippines.
• Must be a Board-Certified Pediatrician.
• With valid and current professional credentials to practice.
• Experience in outpatient pediatric clinic, hospital, or similar setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents/guardians.
• Patient, compassionate, and child-friendly approach.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality healthcare, and professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and age-appropriate assessments for infants, children, and adolescents.
• Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Develop treatment and follow-up plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor growth, nutrition, and developmental milestones.
• Conduct well-child exams and preventive care.
• Provide immunizations and follow guidelines.
• Educate parents on child health, nutrition, and safety.
• Review labs, imaging, and diagnostics.
• Coordinate care with pediatric specialists when needed.
• Manage urgent pediatric concerns and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Support pediatric wellness and health education initiatives.

About the Role

The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive medical care focused on preventive healthcare, growth and developmental monitoring, diagnosis and treatment of pediatric conditions, immunization, and health education for patients and their parents or guardians.

The role requires a compassionate and child-friendly approach, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering safe, timely, and high-quality pediatric care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and age-appropriate clinical assessments for infants, children, and adolescents
• Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Develop appropriate treatment and follow-up plans based on each patient's clinical needs
• Monitor growth, nutrition, developmental milestones, and overall health status
• Conduct well-child examinations, routine health assessments, and preventive care
• Provide appropriate immunization services and recommendations based on applicable guidelines and clinic protocols
• Educate parents and guardians regarding child health, nutrition, hygiene, safety, development, and preventive care
• Review relevant laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic results
• Coordinate care and referrals with pediatric specialists and other healthcare professionals when necessary
• Recognize and appropriately manage urgent pediatric concerns requiring further evaluation or higher-level care
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation
• Support pediatric wellness, vaccination, screening, health education, and other Care Center Clinic healthcare initiatives
• Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, quality care, confidentiality, and professional ethics
