Job summary

QBE Group Shared Services Centre in Manila seeks an experienced Internal Controls Assurance professional to perform control audits across the Global QBE Finance environment. You will standardize control documentation and collaborate with the finance teams to remediate deficiencies.

The role requires strong accounting judgment, knowledge of financial controls, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent.
• CPA and/or CIA certifications preferred.
• Experience in internal controls/audit is required or highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct control audits across the Global QBE Finance environment.
• Assist in standardizing process and control documentation across Finance.
• Assess operating effectiveness of controls and challenge accounting teams to remediate deficiencies.
• Maintain matrix reporting line to Head of Group Finance Operation Risk & Assurance.
• Deliver audits on time and within budget while using judgement and professional standards.
