Job summary

QBE Group Shared Services Centre seeks an Internal Controls Assurance professional based in Manila or Cebu to perform control audits across the Global QBE Finance environment. You will assess operating effectiveness of controls, ensure proper documentation, and challenge divisional accounting teams to remediate deficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar internal controls/audit role.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Undertake control audits across the Global QBE Finance environment.
• Assist with standardizing process and control documentation.
• Evaluate operating effectiveness of controls and adequacy of supporting docs.
• Challenge accounting teams to remediate control deficiencies.
